ANTI COVID-19 MEASURES AT TOUR OF ESTONIA 2021

RESTRICTIONS IN FORCE IN ESTONIA

The obligation to wear a protective mask or cover one's nose and mouth in public indoor spaces, including public transport

The 2+2 rule is in force in public indoor spaces
-
Starting from May 24th it is allowed to eat on site at the indoor areas of catering establishments while taking into account the 50% occupancy requirement. No more than 6 people may be seated at one table. The doors must close for customers at 22:00 p.m. At outdoor areas it is still allowed to eat and drink in tables of up to 10 people and up to 50% of the outdoor area may be occupied. Just like indoor areas, the outdoor areas must also be closed for customers no later than at 22:00 p.m.

It is allowed to be at outdoor public events and meetings and entertainment venues in groups of up to 25 people. The events must end no later than at 22:00 p.m. The number of participants at an outdoor event is limited to 250 people.

Spas, saunas, water parks and swimming pools will remain closed until May 30th, except for doing sports on the conditions set for that.
TRAVEL AND TESTING PROTOCOL

Anyone entering Estonia has to provide information about their travel itinerary, travel companions, any possible contact with a person showing the COVID-19 symptoms and your current health situation.

The person arriving in Estonia can complete the electronic health declarationfor crossing the border 24 hours before their arrival to Estonia.

All foreign arrivals (riders, staff, commissaires) must have for entering Estonia a medical certificate of having had the disease (no more than 6 months prior to the competition) OR proof of completed vaccination OR take the Covid-19 PCR test no earlier than 72h before leaving the country of residence and must have a certificate with a negative result in English.

All Estonian residents and/or staying in Estonia for more than 10 days (organisers) have to do an antigen rapid test from nasal material no more than 24h before the start of the competition. Participation/employment in the competition requires a negative test result. Testing will take place before entering the “competition bubble” at the official hotel. Antigen rapid test costs 25 €, payment has to be made to the organizer.

All riders and staff members must have a certificate with a negative PCR test result in English, taken 72h before the race.Participation in the competition requires a negative PCR test result. The corresponding certificate must be sent electronically to the organizer before arrival to competition or presented at the accreditation desk.

Riders and staff members who need a PCR test for travel from Estonia after the race can pre-order testing via organizers. PCR test costs 70 €, payment has to be made to the organizer. Testing will be provided in the official hotel of the event on May 29 at 8.00-12.00.

If someone falls ill during the competition, they will be provided with separate accommodation and additional testing for Covid-19 virus will be organized. The individual’s possible close contacts are mapped, the information is documented and forwarded to the Health Board.
RACE OFFICE & RACE VENUE

Wearing a mask will be compulsory in all duty rooms (secretariat, meeting rooms, press rooms, accreditation delivery rooms) and in outdoor race areas (start, finish, feeding zones).

Hand sanitizing will be mandatory at the entrance to each room. Hand disinfectants will be available at different accesses to race venue.

A maximum number of people who can be inside the duty rooms simultaneously will be displayed at the entrance to each room.

Physical distancing (minimum 2 meters) must be respected in the queues that may arise in the different areas.
START AREA
-
No public will be allowed to the start area, only teams and organizers.
-
The team zone will be closed for public, press and guests.
-
The team zone will only be accessible with the correct ‘Team’ sticker or ‘Team’ accreditation, no exceptions will be made.

Riders don’t have to sign in, however, they will be presented at the podium by a speaker. A time schedule will be provided the day before the race and the timing must be strictly respected.

Accredited photographers will be kept at a distance of 2 meters from the podium.
-
A direction of circulation will be established to access and exit the podium.
-
No use of changing rooms will be allowed.

The riders must wear the masks until entering the start corridor. At the entrance they can put masks in the bins provided for this purpose.

The persons responsible for giving the start must position themselves at least 2 meters from the riders.
RACE
-
No public will be allowed at the feed zone.
-
Feed zones are accessible with the correct sticker or accreditation only.

The litter zones are positioned along the route of each stage. These locations will only be communicated to the teams.
CONVOY CARS
-
Face masks are mandatory in the race convoy.
-
Hand sanitizing will be compulsory and carried out by the driver before entering the vehicle.
-
Antibacterial solution will be available in the official cars of the organization.
-
The driver of the vehicle will be responsible at the end of the day to disinfect it with wipes or sprays.
FINISH AREA
-
No public will be allowed at the finish area.
-
There will be no specific activities for the public.
-
The team zone will be completely closed to the public, press and guests.
-
The team zone will only be accessible with the correct ‘Team’ sticker or ‘Team’ accreditation, no exceptions will be made.
-
Press will be allowed to do interviews only at a specific appointed spot, where social distancing can be respected.
-
Hand disinfectants will be available at different places.
PODIUM CEREMONY
-
A tent will be available to change clothes for the podium ceremony.
-
This tent will only be accessible for the 3 riders on the podium and their soigneur.
-
Wearing a mask in the awards area will be compulsory.
-
Hand sanitizing will be mandatory before ceremony.
-
The podium ceremony will be held with minimum persons possible and with minimum contacts possible.
PRESS CONFERENCE
-
According to Race Regulation, the race winner must attend the press conference, where social distancing can be respected.
-
Face masks are mandatory for everybody.
-
Hand disinfectants will be available at entrance.
