There were many breakaway attempts in today’s race, but as somehow expected, it all came down to group finish. 21-year-old Belarusian Yauheni Karaliok showed the fastest legs in Tartu and finished ahead of Tour of Estonia 2016 champion, Grzegorz Stepniak (Wibatech) from Poland. Third place went to Dane Andreas Stokbro Nielsen (Riwal). Because of his success in the sprints, the overall leader of the tour is now Stepniak.

„It was difficult for others to get away from the peloton because the overall pace was high. Our goal was to leave it to group finish and bet on me. We succeeded,“ said today’s winner Karaliok.
