One of the leaders of the tour is Mihkel Räim, who took the overall race win of the Tour of Estonia in 2019. He told that it would be great to win the race for the second time. "It is very good feeling to compete at home. Our team has shown that we can also compete with procontinental teams and we could already knock on their doors,” he admits.

Martin Laas, the big favorite of the Estonian team, believes that their team is also able to ride this tour very well. "There are definitely a couple of other variants besides me that can also ride well. It doesn't have to be just me who brings the victory home, "he says. However, Laas mentions that his home team, Bora-Hansgrohe, is definitely waiting for the victory. "It would be good to win - no pressure. If they have already let me in here, they are waiting for the victory,” he adds.

According to Jaan Kirsipuu, Ampler Development Team's sports director, the team leader is Antti Jussi Juntunen from Finland. "The first stage will be a lottery for everyone, but the second stage will be a really tough one. Whoever wins on Saturday must be strong, "says Kirsipuu.

The Tour of Estonia ends on Saturday, when cyclists will ride a completely new track on the Tartu Grand Prix stage for a total of 162.4 km (1st lap 9.4 km + 15 laps 10.2 km).
