Rene Mandri was extremely pleased with the victory: “I didn’t have to be disappointed! Last year I got the second place and this year I promised to win – it happened.” At the same time, Mandri recognized his team: “As yesterday’s race didn’t go so well, we were highly motivated and the team work was at its highest level today.”

Blaz Furdi, today’s second, yesterday’s third place winner, admits the race was hard but pleasant: “Today’s course was difficult and I’m very pleased with the result! We definitely plan to take part in the race tomorrow as well and win!”

The third place winner, Paul Voss, says their team was out to win: ”We wanted to win and we did it! I’m glad our team’s representative won the race and that Estonian guy brought the win to his home country.” About the course Voss says: ”The course was difficult but I enjoyed it.”

The Race Director of the Estonian Cycling Weekend Indrek Kelk is satisfied with the day: ”Race started with the rain but ended in the sunlighr and the race was very active right from the beginning. And of course, Rene’s win was also wonderful!” Kelk also gave some forecasts for the following year: ”If all goes well, there might be one interesting addition to the course next year.”
