First stage of Tour of Estonia was won by Leonid Krasnov (Rusvelo)Today, on the 30th of May the first stage of UCI 2.1 Tour of Estonia stage race was held. Stage Viimsi was 125 long (10x12,5km), the first one over the finish line was Leonid Krasnov from Team Rusvelo. Leonid Krasnov is also the tour leader after the first stage. 
Krasnov: “The stage was very interesting, a lot of riders tried to make breakaways. As I’m a sprinter today the team worked for me, but we will see what happens on the next stages. Our team is here to win and I am glad that the first stage supported that ambition.” Krasnov says that the concerning the tour, the decisive stage will probably be the last, Tartu Grand Prix.
Second one crossing the finish line was Konrad Dabkowski from BDC Marcpol Team, third was Linus Dahlberg from Team People4You – Unaas Cycling.
After the first stage the jersey of General Individual Classification on points went to Emils Liepins from Alpha Baltic Unity Marathons.com, best young rider after the first stage is also Emils Liepins.
2nd stage, 1b is held in Tallinn Old Town today at 18.00 Estonian Time. 2b stage is 3km individual time trial.
