After the first day Gert Jõeäär is leading the tourToday, May 30th at 18:30 the first rider started the 1b stage of the Tour of Estonia - an individual time-trial of 3 km in the Old Town of Tallinn. Gert Jõeäär from the Estonian National Team won the half-stage with a time of 0:04:31. Gert Jõeäär found the course interesting and said he had given his all and is happy that he's form didn't fail him. He assured that he will do his best to guard the leader's blue jersey but didn't deny that it is not going to be easy. In his opinion the cheers from the crowd were a big help. He says the Estonian National Team is in good shape and he trusts his team in the following stages to come.
Fredrik Ludvigsson from the Team People4you got the second place with a result of 0:04:33 and the thrid place went to Stefan Schumacher from the Christina Watches-Onfone Team with a time of 0:04:35.
After today Gert Jõeäär is wearing the blue jersey. The best young rider after the first day is Fredrik Ludvigsson, the best in the points classification is Emils Liepins from Alpha Baltic - Unitymarathons.com. At the end of the day Team People4you was named the leader in the teams' classification.

Tomorrow at 11 the Tallinn-Tartu Grand Prix of 192 km will start from Jüri.
